Say goodbye to ALL your hair problems with lemon oil

Lemon Essential Oil, (Citrus Limonum) is extracted from the lemon peel and not the inner fruit, and it’s widely known for its many benefits such as helping with fever and stomach problems thanks to its ability to cleanse toxins, plus it’s used as an air refresher due to its great smell but my favourite use for it will be that delicious lemonade which is the most popular drink after water (it’s delicious and healthy can you really ask for more?) *_* but Today we’re interested in its ability to help heal the scalp and have a healthier hair.

I mentioned in an earlier blog the benefits of lemon juice for your hair, now I’m talking about the oil and I gotta tell you that whatever lemon juice can do for your hair, lemon oil can do it better since it’s an extract which means it has more powerful anti-microbial, anti-infection, antiseptic and antifungal properties that inhibit any kind of infections, inflammation or harmful bacteria from forming on the scalp, and on top of this it can reduce the excessive oils and help rebalance their natural production on the scalp, Awesome Huh ?! 😀

Also it’s proven to be effective as a hair tonic so in short if you’re looking for improving your hair’s appearance and eliminating dandruff and get the stronger healthier hair you want, all you need is lemon oil.

Like all essential oils to prevent any skin irritations it’s advisable to dilute it with a carrier oil (as coconut oil, olive oil and jojoba oil) before any direct application on the skin.

*If you want to make a shampoo all you need is half a cup of a liquid castile soap and a cup of water and then add about 20 drops of lemon oil.

*If you’re just looking for a hair rinse then use one cup of water and add 3 drops of lemon oil and 2 table spoons of apple cide vinegar.

**Disclaimer**

same goes for all herbal therapies, this oil should be kept away from children, and if you are either pregnant, breast feeding, taking medication or have a health condition, you should talk to your physician or consult a health professional before using it.

And to avoid any allergic reactions, you should take a small  amount and apply it on a small part of your skin (behind your ears or iner wrist) and leave it for few hours to see if there are any reactions, if not then it’s safe : )

Also for a longer shelf life keep it in a cool/dark place.
